Pixar Awesomeness
I stumbled upon this lovely image today while doing some research for a project. It's from a post in Vanity Fair, but I found it on Pixar Talk. I love that all the characters are accurately scaled – and, they're completely in character.

Thriving Family Illustration
I finished this illustration for Thriving Family magazine a few months ago. Now that the issue is out, I can finally post the image.
This article is about welcoming adopted children into blended families. The art director wanted vibrant colors and wanted to show a family with diverse ethnicities. Hope you like! And check out the magazine; it has some great articles.

The Quiet Book
The Quiet Book explores the kinds of silence children experience each day. Its writing, design, and illustrations are elegant and appropriately understated. Also, Renata Liwska, I want to be like you.
Go read this. It'll make you smile.

Cycling
I know this sorta looks like it's supposed to be a story, but it's not. I sketched these in my Moleskine then colored them in Photoshop.
And I used to wreck my bike all the time. I think most of my bodily scars (and maybe my mental ones) come from biffing it while cycling.

What My Sketchbook Usually Looks Like
This is pretty much what most of my sketchbooks look like. An explosion of randomness. But hey, that's what you've come to expect from me, I suppose.

Princess Doodle
I love this doodle. She's such a cool little character. The way you see her here is about 3 times the actual size of the drawing.
