Thriving Family Illustration

I finished this illustration for Thriving Family magazine a few months ago. Now that the issue is out, I can finally post the image.

This article is about welcoming adopted children into blended families. The art director wanted vibrant colors and wanted to show a family with diverse ethnicities. Hope you like! And check out the magazine; it has some great articles.

Cycling

I know this sorta looks like it's supposed to be a story, but it's not. I sketched these in my Moleskine then colored them in Photoshop.

And I used to wreck my bike all the time. I think most of my bodily scars (and maybe my mental ones) come from biffing it while cycling.

What My Sketchbook Usually Looks Like
