Jonah

My wife and I always read a scripture story to our kids before bed; but the illustrations in those storybooks are really boring sometimes, so I had the idea a few nights ago to do something quasi-brilliant: I decided to sketch the story as I told it to my kids. Later, when I had some downtime, I painted the sketches. Here are a couple of illustrations from that. I think I'll continue this. It's good practice, and my kids love it!

I'm still geeking out with how great your illustrations are when you did them while storytelling and trying to entertain a 4, 3, and nearly 2 year-old. You have to draw really fast to keep those three attentive!

I LOVE it!!! So great! You should totally do a book of bible stories with these fabulous illustrations. It would be a big seller!

Thanks, Heather! Now I just have to convince some publishers of that! :)
