I love the names...those are awesome!

But I get the feeling there is some cleverness or joke here that I'm not catching...what are they doing? What are they going to discover?

Cara - No, there's no secret. I just thought it was funny that we usually look at ants through a magnifying glass, and now they're the ones looking through the glass. Are they observing some organism that we humans can't see? I don't know.

What I do know is that they're not burning anything. I'm sure someone will think that's what they're doing. They're not.

I don't know that I buy the whole not burning anything comment. I see two ants holding the implements of young boy bug killing...the magnifying glass (used to burn ants) and the salt shaker (used to burn slugs/snails). Not that I ever did such a thing.

I *love* the woodcut/choppy look. This is a fun spin off your normal style!
