How about:

MS pioneers:). No, really living in New Orleans we hear a lot about the pioneers that came from down south to join the westerners and who knows, a gator might come in handy:)

Ok, this isn't a caption because I couldn't make it sound as funny in writing as it did in my head. My first impression of the picture was playing Oregon Trail in middle school and my oxen dying when I would ford (forge?) those dumb rivers. Now, if I had a crocodile... I would NEVER loose.
